Meet Our Staff
|
Dr. Stephen Godin, BSc., DC.
Chiropractor
Dr. Godin graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology. In 2001, he completed his training at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.
Dr. Godin graduated Cum Laude with Clinical Honours, and was the recipient of the CMCC President’s Award, CCA President’s Award, and the Jurisprudence Award.

Dr. Godin is a member of the Canadian and Nova Scotia Colleges of Chiropractic Sports Sciences, the Sports Medicine Council of Nova Scotia and the Federation Internationale Chiropractique du Sport (F.I.C.S.). He has been involved in treating injured athletes at several events including the Lake Banook Triatholon, Provinical Wrestling and Regional Track and Field Championships.
Dr. Godin enjoys outdoor activities with his friends and family, and attempting to play golf!

Dr. Tracy Payne, BSc., DC.
Chiropractor
Dr. Payne is a native of Newfoundland and holds a biochemistry degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
She graduated Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2001.
During her studies Dr. Payne received the John M. Wallace Award for academic achievement and the Jurisprudence Award.

Dr. Payne is a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association and the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors. In addition to spending time with her family and friends she enjoys walking, running, gardening, yoga and reading.

Dr. Catherine Bartlett, BSc., D.C.
Chiropractor
Dr. Bartlett was was born and raised in Cornerbrook, Newfoundland. In 1999, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Memorial University.
In 2003, Dr. Bartlett completed her chiropractic training at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.
Since graduating, Dr. Bartlett has praciticed in Ontario and Nova Scotia and has helped patients of all ages obtain better health. She promotes total wellness through education on prevention, and by |
collaborating with other health care providers. Dr. Bartlett is a member of the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors and the Canadian Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Bartlett lives in Lawrencetown with her partner Adam, where they enjoy outdoor activities such as biking, running and surfing.

Janice Smith, MT.
Massage Therapist
Janice is registered with the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia and uses a variety of massage techniques including myofascial release and cranio-sacral therapy.
She has over ten years of experience working with a wide spectrum of conditions from neck and low back pain, to motor vehicle injuries like whiplash.
She is currently working toward her Diploma in Osteopathy. |
Janice and her husband Jeff have a young son named Kaeden and live in Cole Harbour.

Brittini Sanford, MT
Massage Therapist
Brittini graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2009 and uses a combination of massage techniques including myofascial and myotonic releases, as well as cranio-sacral and trigger point therapy. She has worked extensively with pregnancy as well as neurological disorders.
Brittini lives in Halifax and enjoys hiking, music and photography.

Jen Estabrooks
Custom Brace Fitter
After working in the medical industry for twelve years, Jen has launched her own brace fitting service to assist clients in attaining and sustaining an active lifestyle. She focuses on sports injuries, trauma and medical conditions that require non-invasive orthopedic appliances - braces, supports and compression therapy.
She is passionate about helping people become as active and mobile as possible,
and her goal is to find the most suitable

brace for their needs with all the support in research, fit, comfort and usage.
Jen obtained her ABC Orthopedic Appliance Certification in Boston, and her Compression Therapy Certification by Bauerfeind, Sigvaris and Venosan. For more information please visit: bracingsolutions.ca.

Tara North
Chiropractic Office Manager
Tara joined our team in November 2008 from a diverse background. After spending seven years in the Canadian Navy she completed her Business Administration Diploma in Accounting.
Tara has since worked as a Finance Manager and is currently completing her Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting.

| Tara is energetic and loves working with others. She has enjoyed the benefits of chiropractic care for over 10 years, and it continues to help her live a healthy, active life. Her hobbies include reading, sailing and camping with her husband David and daughter Peyton. |

Carolyn Pettipas
Chiropractic Health Assistant
Carolyn joined our team in March 2008 after retiring from the provincial government, ending a career of 35+ years. One month of retirement was long enough!
She moved to Cole Harbour in 1985 and has watched it grow from a narrow road to the bustling community it is today.

| She was born in Annapolis Royal "a long time ago" and graduated as part of a single grade 12 class from the old Darmouth High School on Ochterloney St. She went on to pursue further education, employment with a bank and finally a career with the Dept. of Community Services.
Her hobbies are spending time with friends and singing bass with the ScotianAires. |
